As with all things in life, the old makes way for the new, while the new strives to find its place in history. The city’s landscape is layered with different eras of existence, each revealing a unique slice of its history.
In this series, captured during Open House Lisboa 2025, I’ve paired images of both old and new spaces—whether seen in isolation or relation to their surroundings—in an effort to present a snapshot of my city as it stands today.
