Open House Bilbao was held for the first time in 2017 and now offers free visits to around 90 unique spaces of the city. For one week each year, Bilbao opens its doors and offers activities for residents and visitors to learn and reflect on architecture, giving them the opportunity to rediscover the city through its architecture and urban planning. The festival lasts for a week: activities will take place during the week, while guided tours of the buildings will be conducted by volunteers at the weekend. Over the years, the festival has created a strong community of volunteers, bringing together around 450 people.
