What could be more spot on the theme of Accessibility and Inclusion than the ”New Slussen” in the heart of Stockholm, connecting the Old town and Södermalm. New meets old architecture.

This complexed project started back in 2016 and now we can start enjoying how it will turn out. Although many things remains to be completed until the final result. This project is probably the biggest change in Stockholm since decades of time, which aims to embrace the future and the modern needs of infrastructure, drinking water and minimize the risk for floods due to climate changes. People are welcome to enjoy and relax in the social areas with plenty of benches and seating. Accessibility is an important aspect in the area, with priority of cyclists and pedestrians and also for passing boats between Mälaren and Saltsjön. Accessibility and inclusion.
