I’ve chosen and joined these two shots, both taken at the S Hotel during Open House Thessaloniki 2023. The first one is the view from the rooftop of the building, overlooking the Stein Building, with the port as its backdrop. The second one is a bottom-up view from the entrance of the S Hotel, offering a futuristic feel to the image. The idea that permeates both shots is the constant interplay between the past and the future of the city. Its future contains- sustains its past, and it reflects what the future of the city should be: a joint effort towards a sustainable community, respecting Thessaloniki’s history and cityscape.
