Looking back to the architecture of the past, we can see how choosing natural materials, edify with great proportions or ensuring good ventilation, these are just some right choices that increase lifetime of o building. In this video we have Convento da Graça that a great part of it survived the earthquake of 1755 and we can see marks of this happening on the right column of the church tower. The voices in video are of the curious visitors of Open House, who were discovering the displaced part of the column.
