Discovering Electra Palace Through Open House Thessaloniki
What started as a spontaneous decision to join a long queue outside Electra Palace turned into an unforgettable exploration of Thessaloniki’s history and art. After waiting over 40 minutes, I was immersed in the grandeur of its rooms, adorned with spectacular views of Aristotelous Square and the sea. Highlights included the CEO’s personal photo collection, MOMus art pieces, and the city’s rich history, framed within an architectural masterpiece. It was a journey that showcased not just a building but also the volunteers helping the elderly join the queue and scan their codes in the heart of the city embracing accessibility and inclusion. *First picture from when I saw the queue and second picture from the inside of the building and its prestige.
