Flagship Store
In the iconic Ferrer building in Valencia, a prime example of Valencian Modernism built between 1907 and 1908, stands the flagship store of Mobalco, a manufacturer of high-end kitchen furniture. The building boasts beautiful Art Deco decorative details in every corner, from the woodwork to the ironwork. The store’s interior, which had changed over the years with the passage of different businesses and the accumulation of various decorative layers, was chosen by the company to strip back the walls and reveal the original features, where the scars of time and different histories are etched. Thus, the architectural backdrop highlights the modern and natural furnishings, in a new sales concept that allows customers the freedom to explore all the interactive displays. The lighting also contributes to the prominence of both the environment and the furniture.
