The growth that the city of Bilbao has experienced in recent decades is undeniable. However, with this photograph, we move slightly away from the central area. Kareaga, one of the many places that make up the town of Basauri, on the outskirts of Bilbao. A place whose uneven terrain no longer only causes an obs- tacle for many people, but also makes it impossible for many others to live. Kareaga is one more example that we still have a long way to go, as a civilization, to reach full architectural accessibility,
represented in a mess of stairs.
