With reference to Open House Europe’s annual theme for 2025, ‘Future Heritage’, this visual story captures the hidden corners of old buildings during the last Open House Milano festival. These old buildings have been subject to renovations and shifting utilities, and their reuse has improved the quality of living for their inhabitants. ‘Future Heritage’ is a shared and synchronised look towards the same horizon, seen during both day and night, in the light and the dark, respecting traditions and local character while embracing adaptability and resilience in the face of today’s most pressing challenges.
