Quatidian Sensing. Meeting memories and future
SelectedEveryday experiences and quotidian encounters with space can help us project toward a future where memory and thoughtful desires meet. Entering a building for the first time triggers an encounter between emotions. Echoes from the past resurface as we search for familiar forms, materials and atmospheres that help us mirror and recognise ourselves in the space.
At the same time, a projection toward the future emerges. Arising new desires and thoughts on how we could inhabit differently, and what other possibilities there are for connecting with landscapes and surrounding communities.
At last, in the present, past and future meet through sensation: eyes wander over every corner, skin reaches out for textures, and sound and scent envelop us, giving a sense of belonging within the space.
