‘Stasis’ tells the story of the unfinished, within the framework of Santiago Calatrava’s ‘Città dello Sport’ (Eng. City of Sport), a project started in Rome in 2008, never completed and now redeveloped. One of the two sails stands imposingly, now an integral part of the capital’s skyline. The second sail, which was never built, was supposed to mirror the first, resting on concrete supports that now stand alone, awaiting a new function.
