As places of sadness, dusty memories, and ugly scars on city maps? As something nearing its end?
As places worth revitalizing?
Or as places where hope for new life (of people, city and its architecture) slumbers in rubble and weeds?
It is clear that brownfields in our cities won’t be around for ever.
And it is important that we treat brownfields with consideration.
