The photographs depict my drawing, produced for ‘Mise le Meas’, an exhibition part of Open House Dublin 2025. The drawing looks to capture the good, the bad and the beautiful shaping our city, sewn together by the thread of emigration, a theme deeply woven into Irish heritage. The drawing conglomerates some of the civic paradigms which cause Dublin’s inhabitants to stay or leave. The drawing allows frustration and affection to co-exist, prompting the viewer to question their own relationship with the city.
