Open Call for Visual Stories
Join us in exploring Future Heritage, the 2025 theme of Open House Europe. Discover how architecture bridges the past and the future, question what we should preserve, adapt, or redefine in response to societal, environmental, and technological change, and share your perspective!
What are Visual Stories? It can be a series of photos, a collection of drawings, a short video or even a single picture, that captures the essence of the theme.
Selected Visual Stories from each Open House festival will be exhibited in Athens at the third Open House Europe Annual Summit in January 2026. Chosen works will also be featured in a printed publication and on the Open House Europe website.
At the end of the year, three outstanding Visual Stories from across Europe will earn their creators a trip to an Open House Europe partner festival in 2026, with travel and accommodation expenses covered. Authors under 18 will require an accompanying adult, whose expenses will not be covered.
